The White Horses – CleanCo Event User Terms
Introduction
This booking service (the “System”) for the CleanCo Event is operated by Greene King Brewing and Retailing Ltd t/a The White Horses Hotel, Rottingdean (referred to in this document as “The White Horses Hotel, Rottingdean”, “the hotel” “we”, “us” or “our”
The company details including registration number, registered address and VAT details can be viewed on the White Horses Hotel, Rottingdean website.
These are the terms and conditions which will govern your use of the System, which is provided to you by LiveRES on behalf of The White Horses Hotel, Rottingdean.
By using the System you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions of use (the “User Terms”)Your Booking
Please be advised that the event services for which you book via your use of the System are provided to you by the hotel directly and not by LiveRES. Therefore by using the System to book the event at the hotel you are entering into a direct contract with The White Horses Hotel, Rottingdean and LiveRES is NOT a party to that contract.
In order to make any booking using our System you must have the legal capacity to do so and you must accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name. You must make sure that all the information you provide to us is true and accurate. Booking this event means you must pay in advance.
When you use the System to place a booking for the event you are making an offer to the hotel to accept your booking. Your booking is not complete and legally binding for the event until such time as you have received a confirmatory email from the hotel accepting your booking.
If you wish to cancel your booking you can use the hypertext link in the confirmation email or contact the hotel directly. Contact details can be found in the confirmation email. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time and bring a copy of your email booking confirmation. If you have prepaid in advance, please also bring the credit/debit card you used to make the booking.
Failure to attend the event will result in the payment being retained by the hotel.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking, but this of course will be without any liability to you. We have, at any time for any reason without prior notification to you, the right to terminate or restrict, suspend or terminate your access to any or all of the System if we believe that you are misusing the System or if you are in breach of these User Terms.
Because your contract is directly with the hotel any queries or concerns that you may have in connection with your event booking should be addressed directly to the hotel via the details set out in the confirmatory email.
We reserve the right to disable your access to our Service and, where applicable, any user ID or password issued to you at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of this Agreement.
Personal Information
To use our System you are required to register certain information, including your name, email address and, in some instances, a password. Your registration details and any personal information supplied by you to us will be used by us in accordance with these User Terms and, where applicable, the terms of any privacy policy provided by the hotel.
You will receive emails and/or text messages related to the fulfilment of your booking and your use of the System and we may use your personal information for that purpose. In addition, if selected by you at the time of making your booking, you may also receive information and special offers regarding future bookings, products or offers provided by the hotel from time to time.You are responsible for ensuring that all personal data supplied by you to us is accurate and kept up to date. You must treat your password information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any other person.
Cookies
Similar to other commercial websites, our System utilises a standard technology called “cookies” and web server logs to collect information about how our System is used and to improve our System. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent using the System, and the websites visited just before and just after your use of the System. Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal information about you and we do not generally store any personal information that you provided to us in your cookies.
Availability of the System
Your access to the System is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the System without notice. We therefore exclude any liability to you for any interruption or lack of availability of the System to the extent that we can legally do so. You are solely responsible for making all technical and other arrangements necessary for access to the System. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons accessing the System through your internet connection and account details are aware of these User Terms and comply with them.
Restrictions on use
All copyright, database rights, trade marks, intellectual property rights and other proprietary rights subsisting in our System and any content made available to you from the System, shall remain our property or the property of our licensors. All such rights are expressly reserved.
You agree not to use our System in such a way as to cause the whole or part of our System to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less effective or be otherwise impaired or in any way contrary to applicable law.
Security
We maintain the highest standards of security, however the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. So, whilst we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure the security of your data transmitted to our System. Any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal information we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorised access.
Our liability
Nothing in these User Terms shall exclude our liability for death or personal injury arising through negligence or for fraud.
We do not accept responsibility for any loss, damages or costs suffered or incurred by you arising from viruses or contaminants contracted by you or your machine via accessing or using our System.We do not accept responsibility for any loss, damages or costs suffered or incurred by you arising from participating in this event.
You acknowledge that the fitness event is a physically challenging activity and may pose a risk of discomfort, illness, injury, or even death. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and ability to participate and should seek professional medical advice if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or are unsure about your ability to participate. By registering and participating, you agree to enter the event at your own risk, and we shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to your person or property that occurs during the course of the fitness event. You will not hold us responsible for any personal damage that result from the event you are participating in.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law we exclude all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on any content available from the System. You bear the entire risk of the completeness, accuracy or usefulness of any content accessed on our System.To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law we exclude all liability and responsibility arising from your use of:
• the services provided by the hotel
• the hotel’s failure to supply such services or products, whether in whole or in part.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties and conditions of satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose. You will not hold us responsible for any damages that result from you accessing (including any software or systems you use to access) our Service, but not limited to, damage to any computer, software or system or portable devices you use to access the same.
Under no circumstances shall we be liable to you for any consequential, incidental or special damages or for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, loss of data or loss of any benefit arising out of your use or inability to use our Services.
Changes
We reserve the right at any time to vary these User Terms. Your continued use of our System following any such variation shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
Jurisdiction and applicable law
The English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from or related to your use of the System or attendance at the event. English Law will apply to these User Terms.
Trade Marks
LiveRES and the LiveRES System are either registered or unregistered trademarks of LiveRES Marketing Limited. All other trademarks referred to on our System are owned by their respective owners. No permission is given for their use by any person and such use may constitute an infringement of our rights or the rights of the applicable owner.The White Horses Everly Hotels COllection and Everly Hotels Collection are registered trademarks of Greene King Brewing and Retailing Limited. No permission is given for their use by any person and such use may constitute an infringement of our rights or the rights of the applicable owner.

Terms and Conditions
Christmas two-night packages are available for stays 24-26th December 2025 and three-night packages are available for stays 24-27th December 2025. Children’s rates: 5-12 year-olds will be charged £149 for the 2-night stay. 5-12 year olds will be charged £178.50 for the 3-night stay. Adult prices apply for 13s and over. Calls may be recorded for training purposes. All bookings are subject to availability. Rates quoted are per person, per package. All bookings require full pre-payment at the time of booking. All bookings are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-cancellable. Supplements will apply for single occupancy and room upgrades. Direct booking is required and cannot be made in conjunction with other offers. This offer applies to new bookings only.
Christmas day lunch will be available on a pre-order basis only, and the Christmas Day evening grazing board will be a set offer. All other meals provided in the package are to be selected by the guest when dining in the restaurant during their stay. All bookings require full pre-payment at the time of booking and are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-cancellable.
Christmas day lunch menu-pre orders are required by 10th December 2025. For bookings made after the 10th December 2025, menu pre-orders must be submitted online no later than 48 hours after your booking has been confirmed.
Rate and offer are not transferable and are valid only at the establishment (The White Horses, Rottingdean) that has been prebooked. Greene King reserves the right to withdraw or amend the offer at any time. Manager’s discretion is final. Subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. The Christmas Day menu is available exclusively on 25th December 2025 only.
A booking is only confirmed when a £25.00 per adult and £10.00 per child deposit is received. All deposits paid are non-refundable but the amount may be transferable to a future booking if cancelled by the 10th December 2025. Please note that we are not able to transfer the deposit for any cancellations made after the 10th December 2025.
Menu pre-orders and full pre-payment are required by 10th December 2025. Bookings made after the 10th December 2025 are subject to availability and will require full pre-payment to be made in full at time of booking. For bookings made after the 10th December, menu pre-orders must be submitted online no later than 48 hours after your booking has been confirmed.
After full pre-payment has been taken, the amount is non-refundable, non-cancellable, non-transferable.
Please note that failure to pay the pre-payment in full may lead to your booking being cancelled by the hotel.
If we are unable to host your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible. If a reschedule is not feasible, a full deposit refund will be provided.

No booking is confirmed until a £10.00 per adult and £5.00 per child deposit is received. All deposits paid are non-refundable but may be transferable if a minimum of 7 days notice is given. Please be aware that we are not able to transfer the deposit for any cancellations made after the 18th December 2025.
Please confirm your menu pre-order choices online 7 days prior to dining (if your booking is less than 7 days away, your menu choices will be required within 48 hours of booking and at least 2 days prior to dining.)
If you need to cancel your booking please contact us ASAP as any meals not taken on the day may be charged unless 48 hours notice is given.
If we are unable to host your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible. If a reschedule is not feasible, a full deposit refund will be provided.
Please note that bookings not paid in full may lead to your booking being cancelled.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Acceptance. By entering this promotion you are deemed to have accepted, and will be bound by, these terms and conditions.
Eligibility. This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over only. Employees of Greene King, their families, agencies, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion, are not eligible to enter.
Promotional period. This promotion opens at 10am Tuesday 1st April 2025 and closes at 11:59pm Monday 7th April 2025.
Entry requirements. Entrants must comment on the The White Horses giveaway post on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok and follow the account for a chance to win.
Winner selection. One winner will be selected at random from all entries received across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
Prize. One winner will win a one night bed & breakfast stay for up to two people in a Classic Room at The White Horses, Rottingdean in 2025. In addition the winner will receive 2 tickets to a Bolney Wine Estate Sussex Cheese and Wine Tasting Tour, and 2 tickets to a Spirit of the Downs Distillery tour and tasting experience, based at Bolney Wine Estate. All aspects of the prize must be used during the same visit and can not be used separately. To ensure this, the date of the stay will be subject to available tour dates. The date of the stay is also subject to the exclusion of Bank Holiday weekends, and the months of July and August.
Please note that travel between The White Horses and Bolney Wine Estate is not included.Extensions, alterations and upgrades are subject to availability and at the winner’s expense.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold or auctioned. No cash or other alternative to the prize will be offered unless in the event of unforeseen circumstances, in which case we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value than the original.
Notification. The winner will be informed of their prize within 5 working days following the end of the promotion, unless otherwise specified, and will be contacted by The White Horses on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. The winner will only ever be contacted by The White Horses.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner using the details on entry. However, if a response has not been received within 10 working days or if the selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner using the same process referred to above in these terms and conditions.
We accept no responsibility for failed delivery due to the provision of incorrect contact details by you. In any event the prize must be claimed and taken within six months of the closing date (7th October 2025).
Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way due to entering this promotion or taking up a prize. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
Intellectual property. You will retain ownership of any content, submissions and other material that you submit as part of this promotion.
