  Terms and Conditions

  Christmas two-night packages are available for stays 24-26th December 2024 and three-night packages are available for stays 24-27th December 2024. Children’s rates (under-16s): 5-12 year-olds will be charged £180.00 for the 2-night stay. 5-12 year olds will be charged £220.00 for the 3 night stay. Children 12 and over will be charged the adult rate. Calls may be recorded for training purposes. All bookings are subject to availability.

  Christmas day lunch is on a pre-order basis only. All other meals provided in the package are to be selected when dining in the restaurant at the time of stay. All bookings require full pre-payment at the time of booking and are non-refundable after this date. Cancellations made up to 30/11/24 may be refunded in full. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made on or after 01/12/24. Supplements will apply for single occupancy and room upgrades. The 10% early bird discount is available until 31st October 2024 for telephone bookings through our central reservations team. This discount is not valid for bookings made after the 31st October 2024. Direct booking by telephone is required and cannot be made in conjunction with other offers outside of the 10% early bird offer. This offer applies to new bookings only.

  Rate and offer are not transferable and are valid only at the establishment (The White Horses) that has been prebooked. Greene King reserves the right to withdraw or amend the offer at any time. Manager’s discretion is final. Subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.   A New Year’s Eve package is available for stays on 31st December 2024.

  Our New Year’s Eve package consists of: Arrival at the hotel for check-in after 3pm on 31st December 2024. A New Year’s Eve gala dinner with entertainment to bring in the New Year. One nights accommodation. Full a la carte and continental breakfast on the morning of 1st January 2025. Additional nights accommodation on bed and breakfast or dinner bed and breakfast rates may be available. Packages are based on 2 people sharing a room and attending the gala dinner. There are no rates available for children or occupancy of more than 2 per room. Following you reserving the New Years Eve package, we will contact you to confirm your food choice from our menu, which must be confirmed by 18/12/24.

  All bookings require full pre-payment at the time of booking. Cancellations made up to 30/11/24 may be refunded in full. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made on or after 01/12/24. Supplements will apply for single occupancy and room upgrades.

  Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice

  1. Acceptance. By entering this promotion you are deemed to have accepted, and will be bound by, these terms and conditions.
  2. Eligibility. This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over only. Employees of Greene King, their families, agencies, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion, are not eligible to enter. 
  3. Promotional Period. This promotion opens at 10:00am on 28 June 2024 and closes at 11:59pm on 5 July 2024. 
  4. Entry requirements. To enter through Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, you must comment on the giveaway post and follow the account.
  5. Winner selection. 1 winner will be selected at random from all entries received across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  6. Prize. The winner will receive a one night bed and breakfast stay for 2 in a classic room at the White Horses, High Street, Rottingdean, Brighton, BN2 7HR. Extensions, alterations and upgrades are subject to availability and at the winner’s expense. Stay cannot be booked for 2-5 August 2024 or the 23-26 August 2024. 
  7. The terms and conditions of any third-party supplier will also apply to the prize where applicable. If there is a conflict between third-party terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these shall take precedence.
  8. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold or auctioned. No cash or other alternative to the prize will be offered unless in the event of unforeseen circumstances, in which case we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value than the original.
  9. Notification. The winner will be informed of their prize within 5 working days following the end of the promotion, unless otherwise specified and will be contacted by The White Horses on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. The winner will only ever be contacted by The White Horses.
  10. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner using the details on entry. However, if a response has not been received within 10 working days or if the selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner using the same process referred to above in these terms and conditions. 
  11. We accept no responsibility for failed delivery due to the provision of incorrect contact details by you.
  12. Delivery. Prize must be redeemed by 30 November 2024.
  13. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way due to entering this promotion or taking up a prize. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
  14. Intellectual property. You will retain ownership of any content, submissions and other material that you submit as part of this promotion. However, you grant us (and our agents and affiliates) a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to use any such content, submissions and other material for the purposes of this promotion. 
  15. Publicity. The winner may be asked to take part in publicity relating to this promotion but this will be discussed with the winner before taking place. 
  16. Winner’s name. In accordance with the Advertising Standards Authority CAP Code, we intend to make available the surname and county of any winner. Any winner that objects must notify us as soon as possible after you are informed that you have won.
  17. General terms. No bulk, machine-generated consumer group or third-party entries will be accepted. Entries are restricted to one entry per person. In the event of multiple entries being received from the same person or account, only the first entry will be accepted.
  18. We reserve the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed, technical or telecommunications faults. Proof of submitting is not proof of receipt.

We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to verify the winner, including, but not limited to, proof of identity and/or age, as required, and to withdraw a prize where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise where an entrant has gained advantage in participating in the promotion or has won using fraudulent means.
